What our customers say
I originally started coming to MarcoRmedia, because a friend and I had been paying high prices for the quality of work we expected. Once she found MarcoRmedia and saw that they provided great quality for less than she was used to paying, she shared her new find with me. I have been using MarcoRmedia for almost two years now. I have found that the service is exemplary, the quality is superior and the interactions have been like working with good friends. They are always striving to do the very best they can for you and your product. I would not hesitate to recommend MarcoRmedia to my artist and entrepreneurial friends. I hope to have a long standing relationship with them.

Three plaque mounting styles you can choose
Plaque Mount
Your print is mounted to a 3/8" sturdy MDF or masonite board and then laminated with a durable transparent film to protect against fingerprints, dirt, moisture and other negative elements. Plak edges are beveled and colored. A keyhole slot is routed in the back to allow you to mount it evenly on the wall.
Float Mount
Very similar to the flush mount except the box frame is constructed smaller than the masonite backing board. The frame is then centered and attached to the reverse side of the backing board. (This gives the viewer the illusion that the picture is floating on the wall). The edges are then beveled and color.
Flush mount
Your print is dry-mounted on 1/8" tempered masonite and vacuum sealed with a protective matte laminate. A 3/8" box frame is constructed and attached to the back to create a 3 dimensional look. Edges are then beveled and colored.
The many applications for plaque mounting
You can use plaque mounting for posters, prints and photographs. There are r four options for colours option for the edges: Black, white, silver and gold.
Plaque mount is also used to mount the original artwork such as watercolour, pen, ink, crayon, pencil crayon, acrylics, pasts, oils and some more, but we don’t recommend you use plaquing for your original artwork, because of the lamination. Usually before the pieces get mounted on the wooden board they get laminated. For original artwork, because the surface is not smooth lamination is not a good option, beside there is some heat process involve in plaque mounting that might damage the original art work or changes the color.
The other option is that to print a digital file of the original art work and reproduce it!
The other use for plaque mounting is for doctors and lawyers certificates, awards and diplomas. Most doctors and lawyers get these kinds of documents mounted on plaque to display in their office.
If you have any comic books, magazine articles / images and newspapers. You can also use the plaque mount to turn it into a decorative piece of wall art! Some companies and restaurants use this option to give information to their clients to advertise their services.
For the stores and restaurants they can have their promotions, price list and menus on the plaques. As we mentioned above plaque mounting is an inexpensive way to represent the piece of paper as an art work or an informative piece.
The other use of plaque mounting is for signs, motivational images, quotations and poetry.

Some Facts about Plaque Mounting
We do our best to give you the highest level of quality in our printing and mounting process, but during the mounting, because of the sensitivity of paper and also heat pressure process involve in mounting there is a small chance of damage even if the greatest amount of care is taken during the plaque mounting process. Please take this into consideration that for some pieces like diplomas, artwork and memorabilia maybe plaque mount is not the best option. Framing would be a low risk option for that kind of valuable materials.
The process of plaque mounting or any kind of mounting needs high level of heat or pressure. It rarely has happened in the past, but there is always a chance that damage can occur. For reproductions and print it would be fine, because we replace it at no charge for our client. Please be aware of the process and in case that something happens we replace it with another plaque mount the same size at no charge for you.
One thing that you have to be aware of is that if the original on the paper is wrinkled, creased or torn like old newspaper articles they might get flatten during the mounting process and look beautiful, but sometimes still looks creased!
It is important to know what your image or text was printed on. Anything printed on heat-sensitive material (i.e. ultrasounds, concert tickets) can still be mounted, but it is suggested that a digital print be created to prevent the image from turning black. Keep in mind that when it comes to plaque mounting, s digital print can always be created. Consider this whenever you are mounting an original or irreplaceable piece. This way your original is kept intact, you have plaque mounted keepsake, it still allows you to create multiple plaques of the same image in the future.
