| About our Canvas printing Service? |
| Canvas printing is a method by which inks are printing onto a canvas cloth surface. Canvas suitable for Giclee printing is coated with a receptor layer so that the inks will be absorbed by the surface of the canvas thus creating the high resolution printed image. Giclee Canvas comes in rolls up to 60 inches wide and up to 40 feet in length. Currently we are able to print up to 44 inches wide on our Epson Giclee printers. The digital image you supply to us is reviewed for quality and sharpness. Once the image has been screened we then proceed to print your image through our RIP printer software. We print your canvas in high quality mode which means in most cases 1440 dpi printing quality. Once your canvas print is ready it is stored flat for 24 hours to allow the inks to properly outgas and dry. Your canvas print is ready to be coated in out spray booth. We recommend all canvas prints be coated to add a layer of protection since most canvases are displayed stretched without glass any protective barrier. We coat all canvas prints with a satin or gloss archival spray that will make your canvas print water resistant and add an added layer of UV protection. Your canvas print is ready to be shipped out or picked up at our studio. For your convenience we also offer stretching services for your canvas. We cut all our stretchers in house and therefore deliver to you the best value. We are able to deliver custom size canvas prints on any custom size stretcher up to 9 feet long. |
